In our latest development efforts, we’ve made substantial progress in enhancing the interactivity within our mixed reality (MR) environment. Notably, we have successfully implemented the “fox show up” interaction.

Technical Details:
The fox model appears correctly in response to user interactions but lacks texture, which is essential for a more lifelike and immersive appearance.
Due to spatial constraints in the testing environment (a smaller room), some elements like the virtual fire are appearing under the table instead of on the floor, an issue not present in larger spaces such as a classroom.
Next Steps: Enhancements and Collaborations
Model and Texture Enhancements:
To bring our virtual creatures to life with greater realism, we need to incorporate textures into the fox model. We are planning to extend this to all character models involved in our MR experience to enhance visual appeal and narrative depth.
