Early stage: Dessert-themed fantasy world
In the initial scene design, the main theme was a fantasy world inspired by desserts. The design style was fairy-tale-like, warm, soft, and full of fantasy atmosphere. The choice of dessert theme symbolizes the character’s innocence and yearning for a free life. The scene includes typical dessert elements such as chocolate cake and pudding, but is not limited to a specific dessert form.

In terms of visual style, the colors are mostly soft pink, purple and brown, giving people a sweet and dreamy feeling. The layout and design of the room also reflect the texture of desserts. The furniture is like a pile of candies, and the overall design style is full of childishness and comfort.

Mid-term stage: Gradually integrate Chinese elements
As the project develops, the scene design begins to gradually integrate Chinese cultural elements. This change marks the design from a simple dessert symbol to a more culturally meaningful expression, conveying the protagonist’s dilemma and struggle under family and social pressure.

In this stage, more traditional Chinese elements are added to the design, such as moon cakes and lanterns. Moon cakes have become the core symbol, representing the constraints of the family and the tradition of culture, and symbolizing the identity dilemma of the character. The decorations in the wedding scene also draw on traditional Chinese wedding elements. The red background, lanterns, and Chinese patterns are cleverly integrated into the scene, making the overall style shift from a single dessert fantasy world to a more complex and profound cultural expression.

Later stage: Color enhancement and high-contrast visual style
In the later stage, the use of colors also underwent significant changes, gradually becoming more vivid and high-intensity contrast. From the early soft pink and purple, it gradually evolved into highly saturated rainbow tones and strong colors such as impactful red and yellow. Such color changes are not only visual adjustments, but also the enhancement of emotional expression-the sense of oppression hidden behind the sweetness and the inner struggle of the characters.

The design of this period also strengthened the integration of Chinese elements and dessert themes, such as arches with traditional patterns, traditional Chinese decorative elements, etc. The integration of these Chinese elements makes the cultural background of the scene clearer, and the contradictory mood of the characters caught between sweet fantasy and real oppression when facing the oppression of family and society is also reflected through the scene design.
